It has been raining for the past week. Water level rises. Marsh no more. The wetland cells are now flooded. Only some patches of vegetation. That's where the swamphens hang around. Above the cell, a group of 8 black baza pass by from north to south (9.30am). Occasionally yellow bitterns can be spotted with a few blue-tailed bee-eaters.
