Water level rises. Marsh no more. The wetland cells are now flooded. Only some patches of vegetation. That's where the swamphens hang around. Above the cell, a group of 8 black baza pass by from north to south (9.30am). So, in the evening, I took a walk around the same area which he mentioned. I managed to spot it feeding on the very same tree the scarlet-backed flowerpecker was sighted. An uncommonly sighted migrant species to this part of peninsular Malaysia. It is recorded in Southern Thailand to North West Malaysia.
